Based on Article 69 of the Gambling Act (Official Gazette Nos. 87/09, 35/13, 158/13, 41/14, 143/14, 114/22 and 72/25) and the Regulation on the Organisation of Prize Games (Official Gazette No. 125/25), MONTANA PLUS d.o.o., with its registered office at Planinska ulica 15, Zagreb, Croatia, PIN (OIB): 27348336205, hereby adopts the following
RULES OF THE “MONTANA+ AND DOBRO REWARD YOU AT PETROL” PRIZE GAME
(hereinafter: the Rules)
Article 1. Organiser
The organiser of the prize game is MONTANA PLUS d.o.o., with its registered office at Planinska ulica 15, Zagreb, Croatia, PIN (OIB): 27348336205 (hereinafter: the Organiser). All participants who enter the prize game accept these Rules, acknowledge that they are familiar with them, and by entering the prize game agree to them in full.
Technical support for the implementation of the prize game and operation of the SMS service is provided by New Level d.o.o., Ulica Huga Badalića 31, Zagreb, Croatia, PIN (OIB): 99200431992 (hereinafter: the Agency).
Article 2. Duration of the Prize Game
The prize game will run from 1 November 2026 at 00:00 until 30 November 2026 at 23:59, exclusively at PETROL service stations within the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
Article 3. Purpose of the Prize Game
The prize game is organised and conducted to promote the Organiser and its business, and to increase sales and distribution of the Organiser’s products at PETROL service stations.
Article 4. Eligibility to Participate in the Prize Game
Any adult natural person with a permanent or registered temporary residence in the Republic of Croatia may participate in the prize game (hereinafter: the Participant).
Employees, owners and management of the Organiser and its affiliated companies, the Agency, and members of their immediate families (spouse, common-law partner, parents, children, brothers, sisters and persons legally treated as equivalent) may not participate. Nor may any other persons involved in any way in organising or conducting this prize game.
Each Participant may enter the prize game only in their own name. By participating, the Participant confirms that all personal data provided are exclusively their own and agrees to the Rules and conditions of the prize game.
A condition of participation is that Participants have read and agree to the Rules of the prize game.
By participating in the prize game (by sending an SMS message or completing the web form and clicking to accept the participation terms), the Participant is deemed to have irrevocably agreed to be bound by these Rules, which is a non-waivable condition of participation.
For the purposes of conducting this prize game and fulfilling the purpose for which it was organised in accordance with the Rules, the Participant shall provide the Organiser with the following personal data: first and last name, residential address, and mobile phone number (hereinafter: the mandatory personal data). If necessary, winners will be additionally asked to provide their personal identification number (OIB), present an identification document for inspection, and provide any other information needed to deliver and fulfil the prize.
Article 5. How to Enter the Prize Game
To enter the prize game, Participants must make a single purchase at the sales locations specified in Article 2 of one pack of any Montana+ x DOBRO sandwich from the range (PROSCIUTTO, KULEN or SALAMI). The receipt number must then be submitted using one of the following methods:
• Send an SMS containing: MONTANA, receipt number, first and last name, address (street, postal code and town/city) to 60777. The SMS costs EUR 0.32, including VAT.
or
• Complete the web form at www.montanaplus.com.
The original receipt must be kept until the prize-awarding and prize-collection process has been completed and must be presented to the Organiser upon request as proof of purchase. Each receipt may be used only once and submitted either by SMS or by completing the web form. If a receipt with the same number is submitted again by the same or another person, that entry will be declared invalid.
All Participants who meet all the conditions of this prize game and have followed the steps above will be included in the list for the electronic prize draw.
SMS messages are limited to 160 characters, or 70 characters when diacritical marks (e.g. č, ć, š, ž, đ) are used. A message exceeding these limits will be split into a second message and charged by the mobile operator accordingly. For this reason, it is recommended that special characters not be used in the SMS text.
Article 6. Prize Pool
The prize pool consists of:
• 10 × DOBRO prosciutto hind legs, individual value EUR 90.00 each
• 100 × Montana+ x DOBRO sandwich and sliced-meat gift packs, individual value EUR 51.27 each
The total value of the prize pool is EUR 6,027.00, including VAT. The Organiser undertakes to pay 5% of the total value of the prize pool to the Croatian Red Cross.
If a winner does not wish to or is unable to accept a prize, or has not met other conditions of the prize game and is therefore not entitled to the prize, the prize will be dealt with in accordance with the Regulation on the Organisation of Prize Games (Official Gazette No. 125/25).
Photographs of all prizes in promotional materials are illustrative only and are provided for informational purposes.
Neither the Organiser nor the winner may increase or upgrade the awarded prize by making an additional payment.
Article 7. Prize Draw and Announcement of Winners
The prize draws will take place according to the following schedule:
• 16 November 2026 – for entries submitted from 1 November to 15 November 2026 (55 winners)
• 1 December 2026 – for entries submitted from 16 November to 30 November 2026 (55 winners)
At each prize draw, the following winners will be selected:
• 5 × DOBRO prosciutto hind legs
• 50 × Montana+ x DOBRO sandwich and sliced-meat gift packs
The prize draws will take place at the Organiser’s premises in the presence of a three-member committee. Winners will be selected using a computer application and a random selection method, with a certified random number generator, in accordance with the Regulation on the Organisation of Prize Games (Official Gazette No. 125/25).
One person may win only one prize of the same type and only one prize in any single draw.
The committee will verify whether each winner participated in accordance with these Rules.
Minutes of the draw will be prepared and must include: the place and time of the draw; the classification and registration number; the date on which approval for the prize game was granted; the date and name of the electronic or other public media in which the prize game rules were published; the first and last names and addresses of the committee members; the method used to draw the winners; the first and last name and address of each winner; and the name and value of each winner’s prize. The minutes must be signed by all committee members, and the Organiser must submit the signed minutes to the Ministry of Finance within 8 days of the draw.
The first name, last name and place of residence of all winners will be published on www.montanaplus.com within 8 days of the draw.
Any portion of the prize pool valued at more than EUR 663.61 that remains undistributed after the prize game ends will be sold by the Organiser at a public auction, and the proceeds will be paid into the state budget within 90 days after the deadline for collecting prizes expires.
If fewer people enter the prize game than the number of prizes available, the draw will continue in such a way that the same Participant may be drawn more than once until winners have been selected for all prizes.
Article 8. Collection of Prizes
A prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Once a prize has been collected, all further obligations of the Organiser towards the winner cease. Winners will be notified in writing of their win and how to collect their prizes within 8 days of the draw. Prizes will be sent to winners by post or courier. Winners must collect their prizes within 30 days of receiving notification that they have won.
If winners do not collect their prizes within that period, they will be notified again within 8 days, and will then have 15 days from receipt of the additional notification to collect their prizes. If a winner is unable to collect the prize in person, an authorised person may collect it on the winner’s behalf.
Within 8 days after the prize-collection deadline expires, the Organiser will provide the Ministry of Finance with information about winners of prizes worth more than EUR 1,000.00, the name and value of each prize, proof of prize collection, and a list of any prizes that have not been collected.
Article 9. Other Provisions
The Organiser is not responsible for incomplete, incorrect or late entries. The Organiser and the persons involved in conducting the prize game are not liable for any damage that may arise from the prizes or benefits.
The prize game may be cancelled, suspended, amended or placed on hold only if circumstances arise for which the Organiser is not responsible and which it could not prevent, remedy or avoid. Participants will be informed of any interruption of the prize game on www.montanaplus.com. In such circumstances, the Organiser will not be liable to Participants for any possible damage. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the prize game or the application of these Rules is final and binding on all Participants.
Article 10. Publication of the Rules
The Rules of the prize game, together with the classification number, registration number and date of the Ministry of Finance’s approval, will be published on www.montanaplus.com before the prize game begins.
Article 11. Disqualification of Participants
The Organiser will disqualify a Participant if it determines that the Participant has provided inaccurate, false or another person’s personal data, or if it suspects misuse of the prize game. Misuse includes, in particular, any attempt to manipulate or commit fraud when submitting an entry. Participants found engaging in such conduct will be disqualified and barred from further participation in this prize game.
Article 12. Termination of Obligations
All obligations of the Organiser towards a winner cease when the prize is collected or, where necessary, when a separate prize acceptance agreement or statement is signed. The Organiser accepts no liability and bears no costs arising from the delivery of the prize to the winner or after its delivery.
The Organiser accepts no liability for:
• any accidents or injuries resulting from the use and/or enjoyment of the awarded prizes, to which the winners expressly agree;
• any consequences arising from the incorrect use or misuse of the prize game conditions by Participants or third parties;
• any adverse consequences suffered by Participants as a result of participating in the prize game;
• the accuracy or currency of information submitted by Participants;
• personal data that a Participant makes available to other Participants or third parties by any means, or the use of such data by other Participants or third parties;
• circumstances and situations for which the Organiser’s liability is excluded under these Rules, or for which the Participant’s or winner’s liability is defined;
• any malfunction of the Internet, email, telephone lines or other devices that enable the prize game to be conducted. The Organiser is also not responsible if one or more Participants are unable to enter the prize game for any reason or due to a technical error;
• any damage caused to a Participant, their computer equipment, smartphone or data stored on those devices, or any personal or professional consequences that may result.
Article 13. Processing of Personal Data
By participating in this prize game, Participants agree and give their consent that, if they win a prize, the Organiser may use and publicly disclose their personal data (first and last name, place of residence) free of charge in printed, audio, photographic and video materials, for the purpose of publicly announcing the results of the prize game, including the announcement of winners and awarding of prizes, as well as the publication of reports, articles or similar materials relating to the prize game.
The Organiser, as the controller of the personal data records of Participants and winners, collects, records, maintains and processes the personal data collected from Participants and winners solely for the purpose of conducting the prize game, in accordance with these Rules.
When entering the prize game, if specifically asked by the Organiser, a Participant may, by taking an affirmative action, consent to the use of the mandatory personal data provided for other purposes (e.g. automated processing of personal data and personalised communication with the Participant, use by the Organiser’s affiliated companies, etc.). The Participant may also choose to provide additional personal data for use and processing for those specifically stated additional purposes.
A Participant may withdraw such consent at any time by sending a request to the email address or registered office address of the Organiser, using the contact details provided on the Organiser’s website.
The Organiser uses and processes only personal data provided by Participants. Each Participant is solely responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided and must inform the Organiser of any changes in a timely manner.
Participants have the right to request information at any time about the personal data processed by the Organiser. They may also object to the use of their personal data where the Organiser relies on its legitimate interests, and in all cases where the data are used for direct marketing.
To exercise their rights and fulfil their obligations relating to the use of personal data, Participants may contact the Organiser at its email address or registered office address, or follow the instructions provided in promotional materials.
All personal data will be protected by appropriate organisational and technical measures and handled lawfully and fairly in accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations.
Participants are informed of and agree to the possibility that the Organiser may carry out certain personal data processing activities through processors located within or outside the EU (a natural or legal person processing personal data on behalf of the data controller). In doing so, the Organiser will ensure that any transfer is lawful and will select processors that meet appropriate security standards guaranteeing a high level of personal data protection.
Participants acknowledge and expressly agree that the Organiser may entrust specific tasks relating to the processing of personal data to its contractual partner, the Agency. The Agency may process personal data only within the scope of the authorisation or instructions received from the Organiser, in accordance with applicable law and for the purpose of conducting the prize game under these Rules. Personal data will be used and retained until the Participant withdraws their consent, in accordance with these Rules, unless otherwise required by law.
Winners acknowledge and expressly agree that their personal data may be shared with the Agency, as the Organiser’s contractual partner, solely for the purpose of conducting this prize game.
Winners’ personal data may be shared with postal or courier service providers for the purpose of delivering prizes.
The Organiser will take all reasonably necessary measures to ensure that Participants’ personal data are processed and used securely and in compliance with applicable legislation.
Article 14. Handling of Complaints and Validity of the Rules
All complaints and claims will be handled by the Organiser. Where a complaint is justified, the Organiser undertakes to remedy the shortcomings as soon as possible and inform the Participant concerned and, where necessary, the other Participants.
Any dispute between the Organiser and a Participant in this prize game will fall within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Civil Court in Zagreb.
Article 15. Final Provisions
By participating in the prize game, a Participant accepts the rights and obligations set out in these Rules and, by submitting an entry, confirms that they are aware of the purposes for which their personal data will be used and how it will be handled.
These Rules enter into force after they have been approved by the Ministry of Finance and publicly published.
Only the Organiser may provide an authoritative interpretation of these Rules.
